The hotel was built in 2002 by Harry and Marijke Heinrichs – Van der Valk under the name Queen. Since 2006, it has been operated by NH Hotels as NH Waalwijk. After sixteen years, the hotel returns to the hands of the Van der Valk Family. After a thorough renovation and expansion, the hotel will open its doors with a completely new concept in mid-2026.
Van der Valk Hotel Waalwijk has 200 hotel rooms and 11 function rooms, is 9 minutes from the A59 and 5 minutes from the city center. Due to the ideal location you can also quickly reach Den Bosch or Tilburg. This hotel is a stone's throw from the Efteling in Kaatsheuvel.
